Taipei, Taiwan, 20 Jan., 2009 – The Taiwan External Trade Council today announced the winners of the 17th Taiwan Excellence Awards. With nearly 600 products submitted for this year’s competition, Unitech received awards for both of their mobile computer entries.

Every year, the Taiwan Excellence Awards honor those products qualified in “R&D/ Innovation”, “Design Innovation”, “Quality Systems”, “Marketing”, and “Brand Awareness”. The Taiwan Trade Development Council (TAITRA) holds this competition annually to improve Taiwanese product quality and international recognition worldwide. The Taiwan Excellence Award is a coveted domestic honor competed for by top companies in various professional fields.
