Can I use function codes for extended ASCII characters like backtab with this scanner?

To support extended ASCII codes with this scanner you must use the data editing option, creating a barcode with a function code embedded within it will work only for regular ASCII values. For a reference of all support ASCII function codes see pager E.1 of the scanner's manual. |

1. Insert Card 2. Wireless setting should pop up automatically while system is up 3. Otherwise Cisco Settings available under WindowsACU.exe 4. All other cards settings under Start > Settings > Control Panel > Wireless Settings 5. If there is no card detected you may need to do an OS upgrade |

How do I Cold Boot or Reset to Factory Default the PA96x?

This operation will return to factory Default setting, erasing any additional files or programs you have added to the device. The files in Flash Storage remain. You have two options to Cold Boot the device 1. Utilities > Boot Mode > Cold Boot ** Before you proceed, Press and Hold the BS Key continually through out the process until the device boots up. If the proceed successfully, you will be prompted to calibrate the stylus 2. Press the Reset button in the rear of the device UNDER THE PCMCIA SLOT, there is no label for this button, but it is the only button in the PCMCIA slot |
